Who says celebrating Dad has to break the bank? This recipe for mouthwatering baked chicken sliders was created for Father’s Day without emptying the wallet! Every ingredient was carefully selected to create these succulent sliders, marinated to perfection with Chef Merito’s Chicken Marinade and topped with Chef Merito’s Garlic Salt. Easy, delicious and budget-friendly!

Instructions

Place chicken thighs in a zip bag. Add chicken marinade, seal and press with fingers to distribute marinade evenly. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 425° F.

Place chicken skin side down with marinade in an oven safe dish. Bake for 20 minutes covered then turn, skin side up and bake for 20 minutes more uncovered.

Remove from oven, let cool for 5 minutes and shred with fork. Discard bones and skin.

Reduce oven temperature to 350° F. Slice sheet of rolls in half. Brush cut side and top side with butter. Cover the cut side with a layer of cheese and shredded chicken. Brush slider tops with butter then sprinkle with Chef Merito Garlic Salt. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven. Place the sheet of roll tops over other bread sheet and sprinkle with fresh parsley.

Slice the sliders individually and serve with potato chips and a pickle spears.
