Tart, spicy and refreshing, a michelada is always a great drink to enjoy in the summertime. Not to be confused with a chelada, which consists of lime juice, ice , beer and a sprinkle of salt. A michelada includes a variety of umami sauces, hot sauce and tomato juice or cocktail. Depending where you are from, the name “chelada” refers to the spicy tomato version and “michelada” to the lime and salt version. What do you call it?
