Did you know that July is ice cream month? Pineapple is one of my favorite fruits and I just had to make PIÑANADAS. Similar to the mango version, mangonadas, this popular Mexican street dessert is made with layers of chamoy sauce and chili lime salt (Tajin). A mixture of sweet, salty and spicy with chunks of juicy pineapple brings it all together. Perfect to tame off the rising heat. To make this tasty no-churn pineapple ice cream, I used Real California Milk heavy cream and sweetened condensed milk to make it soft and fluffy.
